Christmas at Korner’s Folly
Treat yourself to a magical experience at the “Strangest Home in America,” the 1800-era Victorian home Korner’s Folly just 15-minutes from Downtown Winston-Salem.
Enjoy puppet shows and self-guided tours of the 22 beautifully decorated rooms of the Korner’s Folly home. As you meander, enjoy listening to live Christmas caroling and storytelling.
Puppet shows are held on Friday December 1st, Saturday December 2nd, and Friday December 8th. Self guided tours are Friday December 15th and Saturday December 16th.
Salem Christmas Saturday
On Saturday, December 9th join friends and family at the James A. Gray, Jr. Auditorium for historic trade demonstrations, period music, Christmas decorations, hands-on activities, and wagon rides.
This holiday tradition is perfect for residents of all ages looking to get into the Christmas spirit while learning about Salem history.
Festival of Lights
From Friday November 17th to Monday January 1st, come on out for the annual Festival of Lights. Every year, the rolling countryside of Tanglewood Park is transformed into a wonderland of sparkling snowflakes and enchanting scenery.
Transport yourself into a traditional Christmas story, with huge light displays, a number of cheery holiday vendors, and even a visit from a surprise Christmas star.
UNC School of the Arts Presents: The Nutcracker
From December 8th to the 17th, come on out to Winston-Salem UNC School of the Arts for a production of the Nutcracker, with world-famous guest artists and a full orchestra.
Transport your self to a magical land of nutcrackers, fairies, and adventure. The production will be held in Winston-Salem’s historic downtown Stevens Center. Tickets are available here.
