It’s officially spring! That means it’s time to store away the winter coats, grab some sunscreen, and go outside. What better way to celebrate the new season than by attending a fun Winston-Salem event?

So, here are four wonderful events in Winston-Salem to look forward to.
River Run International Film Festival
Now in its 21st year, the annual River Run International Film Festival is one of the Southeast United States’ most highly anticipated annual film festivals.
The 11-day festival will feature over 160 films from filmmakers all over the world. You can buy tickets per movie, or a movie pass to see many different movies throughout the festival.

Gears & Guitars Festival
Hosted by Winston-Salem Cycling, the Gears & Guitars Festival has it all! Music, bike races, entertainment for all ages, and so much more. In fact, this festival features a special performance by Stone Temple Pilots!
Held at the Bailey Park in Downtown Winston-Salem, the festival is going to be a blast. Children under 10 get in free!

North Carolina Wine Festival
Known as the largest wine festival in the state, this event is unmissable! It features over 30 of North Carolina’s finest winemakers, over 100 different dry and sweet wines, local artisans and vendors, commemorative glasses, and so much more.
It’s the perfect way to support local vineyards and North Carolina’s growing grape agriculture, while having an amazing time in Clemmons.

Spirits of Summer
Presented by Texas Pete Hot Sauce in the heart of Winston-Salem, this event is going to be a smoking-hot blast! Wine, beer, music, food: Spirits of Summer has a little bit of everything.
Enjoy tastings from local wineries and breweries, as well as delicious food sold by local restaurants and chefs in the Forsyth County area. Throughout the day, treat your ears to some awesome live music and your eyes to live demos performed by local professional chefs.
